I rate this book 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Because of how descriptive it is and sad but in a good way. My favorite character is bob and just because he is a dog doesn’t mean he is not strong and i think he is strong when he was in the trap it said he whined but not like a cry. My favorite part was when Ruby went to save bob because how descriptive it was and thoughtful it was of ruby.

Ruby finally is getting good grades and the teacher I think is starting to like her. For instance on chapter 12 it states that Mr. Andrew slapted a paper that said A+ and started saying great job and your getting the hang of this so I think that she is going to use that to go through the school year and at the end her dad is going to come back.

I think that the person in the store should be arrested because. In chapter 5 he hits ruby’s mom for no reason and to add on top off that. She was worried that Dakota would find out about her mom getting arrested so it must have been really nerve racking.
